WHERE IS The Garden of Eden

WHERE IS The Garden of Eden Read all of this one, it is interesting!! Near the bottom–the part highlighted in green–will give you GOOSEBUMPS!!! VERY INTERESTING- 1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq . 2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization! 3. Noah built the ark in Iraq … 4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq .. 5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq … 6. Isaac’s wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq … 7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq . 8. Jonah preached in Nineveh – which is in Iraq … 9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel . 10. Amos cried out in Iraq .. 11 Babylon , which is in Iraq , destroyed Jerusalem .. 12. Daniel was in the lion’s den in Iraq . 13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace!). 14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the ‘writing on the wall’ in Iraq . 15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq .. 16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq … 17. The wise men were from Iraq … 18. Peter preached in Iraq .. 19. The ‘Empire of Man’ described in Revelation is called Babylon –which was a cityin  Iraq. And you have probably seen this one: Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq ! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar , and Mesopotamia … The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris And Euphrates Rivers . The name Iraq means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. No other nation, except Israel , has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq .. And also, this is something to think about: Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages … The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible) Koran (9:11 ) – For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; And there was peace....

JUST CHECKING IN

JUST CHECKING IN A minister passing through his church In the middle of the day, Decided to pause by the altar And see who had come to pray. Just then the back door opened, A man came down the aisle, The minister frowned as he saw The man hadn’t shaved in a while. His shirt was kinda shabby And his coat was worn and frayed, The man knelt, he bowed his head, Then rose and walked away. In the days that followed, Each  noon  time came this chap, Each time he knelt just for a moment, A lunch pail in his lap. Well, the minister’s suspicions grew, With robbery a main fear, He decided to stop the man and ask him, ‘What are you doing here?’   The old man said, he worked down the road. Lunch was half an hour. Lunchtime was his prayer time, For finding strength and power. ‘I stay only moments, see, Because the factory is so far away; As I kneel here talking to the Lord, This is kinda what I say: ‘I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I’VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHERS FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. DON’T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS MIKE CHECKING IN TODAY.’ The minister feeling foolish, Told Mike, that was fine. He told the man he was welcome To come and pray just anytime Time to go, Mike smiled, said ‘Thanks.’ He hurried to the door. The minister knelt at the altar, He’d never done it before.   His cold heart melted, warmed with love, And met with Jesus there. As the tears flowed, in his heart, He repeated old Mike’s prayer: ‘I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I’VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHERS FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. I DON’T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY.’ Past noon one day, the minister noticed That old Mike hadn’t come. As more days passed without Mike, He began to worry some. At the factory, he asked about him, Learning he was ill. The hospital staff was worried, But he’d given them a thrill. The week that Mike was with them, Brought changes in the ward. His smiles, a joy contagious. Changed people, were his reward. The head nurse couldn’t understand Why Mike was so glad, When no flowers, calls or cards came, Not a visitor he had. The minister stayed by his bed, He voiced the nurse’s concern: No friends came to show they...

Prayer of Salvation

Prayer of Salvation

Prayer of Salvation All people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) I have personally led many people to God as they prayed a prayer similar to the following prayer. I invite you to pray this prayer with me now. Dear God, I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that He died on the cross, that His blood was shed for my sins and that He arose from the dead. I confess that I have disobeyed your commandments. I ask you to forgive me for these sins. I now ask Jesus to come into my heart. Be my Savior. Be my Lord. Be my soon coming King. I will do my best to obey your teachings as recorded in the Bible. Thank you, in Jesus name. Amen. After you have prayed this prayer find someone with whom you can share your new salvation. It is important to spend time reading the Bible. I suggest that you begin with the book of John. The Bible feeds your new spirit inside of you. Please click here to let us know that you prayed this prayer. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world. From what? Jesus wants to save you from your sinful nature, from death, from yourself. You can be saved if you confess and repent of your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9, John 3:16) When you accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, get “saved” or are born again” you take the first step on the Way of Salvation. Hell is the “reward” for people who do not believe in Jesus; Heaven is the reward for those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Repentance Jesus came to call us to repentance for our sins. When you repent, you turn from going away from God, to going toward God where you seek to do His will and not your own. When you repent you make a 180 degree turn. Some people say that you turn over a new leaf. Born Again We must be born of the Spirit and take on the Spirit or nature of God. When we came into this world we were born of the flesh, like our parents. All people are descendants of Adam and Eve who sinned in the garden of Eden. Because of their sin we are born with the same sinful, lustful nature which desires the things of this world more than the things of God. We are all...

Born Again!

Born Again!

Born Again! “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) Born again. Do you know what Jesus had in mind when He said those two words to Nicodemus? He was talking covenant talk. He was telling Nicodemus what it meant to have a covenant with God. Let me paint the picture I believe was in Jesus’ mind. Imagine a baby, a little baby born of an unwed mother. No one knows who its daddy is and no one wants to know. He is a child that nobody wants. He doesn’t belong to anyone. Now, picture the best kind of family you can think of. A family that loves God. The man has a good job. They’re blessed financially. They’re givers and lovers of people, and they fall in love with this baby. Before long, they adopt it. What’s happened? That baby was reborn. He got a new set of parents. Through adoption, he has now become an heir. Why? Not because of anything the baby has done. Those parents didn’t say, “I want you to look at that baby. I’m so impressed with all that child has done for us. He has certainly earned our love and respect.” No, it’s a baby. It couldn’t have done anything to earn its new life. This man and this woman agreed together out of the love in their hearts and bestowed grace on that child. Now he has access to everything they have. When they offer him a bottle, he doesn’t knock the bottle away and say, “I’m so humble and undeserving. Just give me water.” Of course not. That baby acts like part of the family–and not just part of the family but the best part of the family. Because in Jesus’ day a covenant or adopted child had the same birthright as the firstborn son. That’s what Jesus was talking about when He said, “You must be born again.” He was talking about grace. He was talking about a new relationship of favor. A new family. A new authority. A new power. If you feel unworthy to receive the rich blessings God has for you today, think about that. Meditate on it, so instead of worrying about and struggling with the needs in your life, you can just walk boldly into the throne room of your Father and receive help to get those needs met. Discover what it really means to be a blood-bought child of Almighty God with a big brother like Jesus. Discover what it means to be born...

God The Healer

God The Healer

God Is The Healer He revealed Himself to His people as Jehovah-Rapha (The Lord your Healer, Exod 15:26).He wants to heal those who are sick and hurting. Give Him the opportunity to do so by coming to Him in prayer based on His revealed Word (will). Jesus Paid A Price For Our Healing Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains); yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4,5 Healing was purchased in the atonement. It is as available as salvation. He bore our sins and penalty so that we don’t have to. In the same way, He bore our sicknesses and diseases so that we don’t have to. Is It God’s Will To Heal? Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Pet 2:24 It is not a question anymore. He has already done it. It is past tense. All that is left is “receiving” it. We Are To Release God’s Kingdom (Rule And Reign) On Earth Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 Jesus instructed us to pray and release God’s Kingdom (His will) on earth. Once you know what God’s will is, you can pray with confidence. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14,15 God Is The Author And Source Of Life The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17 God is the author and source of life, health, and all that is good. We have an enemy that desires to destroy us, whom we are to resist steadfast in the faith. (James 4:7; 1 Peter...

PRAYER

PRAYER

PRAYER Thank you Father we have eyes to see and ears to hear that you have made us disciples of All Mighty God. Not just hearers of the word only but doers also. Mat 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted. Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 1) to be a disciple of one a) to follow his precepts and instructions 2) to make a disciple a) to teach, instruct to be a student, a discipline learner, attached or joined together like glue. Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. A student imitates the teacher. Stuck to Jesus like glue. Jhn 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; Jhn 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If you make the word your life knowing the word is not the same as living the word. The word must be your life. Not just a hearer only but a doer of the word. Making it your Life. The only way it will work for you. To change to one nature or another. Into another substance. New substance. Now your not just an old forgiven sinner. Not just a good man. He didn’t alter you He made you a new creature. You are made out of the substance of All Mighty. 2Cr 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Cr 5:18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; He’s a new creature, a...

Cell Phone or ?

Cell Phone or ?

Cell Phone or ? Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it? What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities? And no dropped calls! When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of...
