How to become a Bollywood Star

Bollywood is known as an alias for the city of Bombay, the center of the Indian film industry. Bollywood films are very popular in India and abroad, but are relatively new for Americans. However, if you want to become famous in Bollywood, should adopt a slightly different approach to achieve Hollywood stardom.
Step 1
Talk to other actors and actresses in Bollywood. Ask them how they did in Bollywood and what approaches they use to produce their roles in Bollywood film.
Step 2
Learn Hindi if you do not already know. The Hindi language is the main language used in Bollywood films. Foreigners usually have a part as an extra dancer or not knowing Hindi, but the ability to act in Hindi is crucial.
Step 3
Learn to lip sync songs, representing different scenes and Bollywood dance moves. You should know how to do these three activities to do in a Bollywood movie. See some Bollywood movies to understand the nature of the performance.
Step 4
Check out their family and their links with the Bollywood film industry. You could have an uncle, niece or cousin has done in the industry, and that could lead to the correct connection. If you do not have any family members of Bollywood then start as an extra.
Step 5
Make a tape of the hearing. Start submitting your tape and head shots of cast and Bollywood movies. Get used to rejection and try not to take it personally. Keep the presentation and will most likely be noticed.
Step 6
Find an agent that deals with Bollywood films and ask whether they represent and help them find jobs. It may take some time before finding the right partner in an agent.
Step 7
Consider the possibility of acting in independent and art films filmed in the U.S. or the UK. Movies like “Bride and Prejudice” and “Monsoon Wedding” is Bollywood / Indian style inspired by the movies, but the main language is English.
